Der vorliegende Sammelband bietet hierzu eine kritische Annäherung. Dabei werden zunächst aktuelle Gestaltungs- und Entwicklungsansätze im Gesundheitswesen behandelt und deren sozioökonomische Bedeutung diskutiert. In einem zweiten Teil werden anhand ausgewählter Themen sozialethische Fragestellungen im Kontext gesamtgesellschaftlicher Herausforderungen erörtert.
