Zwanzig Jahre hat Hendrik Simons nichts von seinem Vater in Südafrika gehört, da steht eines Tages dessen Anwalt aus Pretoria vor ihm. Van Relger berichtet, daß Simons senior in ernsten Schwierigkeiten steckt: Der Geschäftsmann Terheugen, der zur deutschen Neonazi-Szene gehört, hat unbemerkt große Summen in die Goldminengesellschaft der Simons investiert. Durch eine Heirat mit Hendriks Halbschwester Lisa will er noch mehr Anteile unter seine Kontrolle bringen. Van Relger fordert Hendrik auf, seine Kenntnisse als Börsenmakler zu nutzen und Terheugen aufzuhalten - vergeblich. Erst als der Anwalt unter mysteriösen Umständen ums Leben kommt, begreift Hendrik, daß es Terheugen um mehr geht als um Geld. Der junge Makler setzt alles auf eine Karte - und beginnt ein Spiel, das zur tödlichen Falle für ihn werden kann ...
