"Beginning in 2023, the Development Research Center of the State Council has drawn on its collective expertise to launch the annual China Development Report. This report records the remarkable course of Chinese modernization under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, presents a number of the Center's research findings on key development issues, and provides a valuable reference for both domestic and international observers who follow and study China's development.

China Development Report 2023 captures the key intellectual, institutional, and practical outcomes generated in 2022 in the pursuit of Chinese modernization. It features three pivotal studies-Advancing the Great Rejuvenation of the Chinese Nation on All Fronts Through Chinese Modernization, China's Economic Development Has Important Foundations and Advantages, and A Strategic Study on High-Quality Population Development in China-which together embody the Center's renewed understanding and forward-looking perspectives on China's development.

国务院发展研究中心从2023年开始，汇聚集体智慧，推出年度《中国发展报告》，记录中国共产党领导人民推进中国式现代化的非凡历程，收录中心关于中国发展重大问题的若干研究成果，为关注和研究中国发展的国内外人士提供参考。

《中国发展报告2023》记录了2022年推进中国式现代化进程中所形成的思想成果、制度成果、实践成果，并收录了《以中国式现代化全面推进中华民族伟大复兴》《中国经济发展具有重要基础和优势》和《中国人口高质量发展战略研究》等三项重要研究成果，体现了中心对中国发展的新认识和新思考。
