Bertolt Brecht verarbeitete diese Ereignisse, die er hautnah miterlebte, in seiner Gedichtssammlung "Buckower Elegien". In dieser wissenschaftlichen Arbeit aus dem Fachbereich der Germanistik finden sich detaillierte Interpretationen zu allen 24 Texten. Der Schwerpunkt liegt dabei auf Brechts Sichtweise der politischen Entwicklungen in der DDR.
