Shanice "Neicy" Carter, Tameka "Meek" Wallace, and Danielle "Dani" Brooks have been friends since childhood, growing up together in O'Donnell Heights. Now grown women facing overdue bills, children to support, and the daily pressure of trying to survive, they are tired of working hard only to remain broke.

When an opportunity for fast money enters their lives, the three friends make a decision that changes everything.

What begins as a way to get ahead soon brings money, attention, jealousy, and enemies. As their reputation spreads through the streets of Baltimore, the women become known as the Three Queens.

But every queen has something to lose.

Neicy is determined to protect her children. Dani is secretly saving enough money to escape the streets for good. And Meek becomes increasingly addicted to the money and lifestyle they once promised would only be temporary.

When threats become personal, police begin closing in, and one of the women disappears, their friendship is pushed to its breaking point.
