The Advanced Crisis Handling Exercise (ACHEX) computer simulation is an exercise designed to be played either by one person or by a team, with the computer providing feedback to player decisions. The anticipated use by the ACSC resident curriculum is for team play with in a seminar in order to emphasize group dynamics in national security decision making, while developing an appreciation for the range and interactions available through the various instruments of power. ACHEX will be used by the Air War College nonresident program for the correspondence student (single player mode) and for the seminar student (multi-player mode).
