A Second Chance, is a true-to-life story, for adolescents, about 2 teenage brothers, whose Father, a drunkard, has deserted them, and their Mother, and left 'her', to take full responsibility of the 'Home', and their 2 sons, which includes, her having to get 'work', to earn enough to pay the 'rent'. She has no idea where her 'errant' husband is, over the 'two years' he's absent, because he has 'never' contacted her. Exciting developments occur, in the second half of the story. A 'romance', and selfish 'rich boy' 'Gregs' life-threatening accident, lend plenty of excitement, to this story, 'with a moral'.
