整理日记，我最早的是初二开始的1970年。经历了文革的我们，在毛泽东"学制要缩短，教育要革命"的指示下，将中学6年减少为了4年，即初中两年，高中两年。从日记中就可以看出，就这几年，我们大量的时间都在干活，真正坐下来安静读书的时候不多。我们没变傻，实属侥幸。
当年的我写日记，是没想到还可以出版的。摸着石头过河，我先出版最早时间段的日记，供一些对中国当代史感兴趣的人参考。这个阶段以"笔"命名，其中"铅笔卷"为学生时期，"粉笔卷"为教师时期；"铁笔卷"为参军时期，"毫笔卷"为大学时期。确实，我一辈子都在用笔谋生，让自己的爱好成了职业，也算对得起自己。
矢弓，记者、作家，原名裴知强，1956年生于湖北公安，郑州大学中文系毕业，先后担任新华社湖北信息社、《湖北经济报》、农村部、工财部负责人；1997年3月调入新华社海南分社，任副社长，曾担任电视台和网络评论员。以"矢弓"署名网络时评，因反应迅速、语言辛辣而倍受各界关注。主要著作：时评集《天地良心》、新闻作品集《雪泥鸿爪》、长篇报告文学《五味人生》、散文集《闲庭信步》《矢弓文集》（1-4卷）。
现居中国海南，自由写作。
