Daneben hören wir eine Bowie-Hommage ("The Girl With X-Ray Eyes"), Manchester- ("While The Song Remains The Same") und Oasis-Reminiszenzen (u. a. "You Know We Can't Go Back", "The Dying Of The Light"). "Ballad Of The Mighty I", die zweite Singleauskopplung, wird von Johnny Marr um einen Discogitarrensound bereichert.
